| With nothing else better to blog about, I've decided to take a cue of Ms. Eunice and make a wishlist of what I want for my brithday =). Muahahahhhaha....the big 2-0 is coming real soon. Sigh. The end of an era is here, I will officially be an adult (on paper :P) now. So, here goes: Things I want : 1. Pyjama sets, I like soft colours and cute prints. 2. These books: a. Girls like you by Paul Sheehan b. Guns, germs and steel : The history of everybody by Jared Diamond. c. Special topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl. 3. A pack of coloured highlighters/markers where the cover can be made into a stand OR the ones where the different coloured highlighters are packaged into a flower like shape. 4. ANYTHING hand made especially for me =), edibles are most welcome. 5. A charm bracelet . 6. Lipgloss, lipbalm anything for the lips. I like vanilla goodies. 7. A digital camera with a big viewing screen. I guess that's about it. I also want a mini cooper in white, but I guess that's too much to ask......right? | | |
| I haven't been updating in a while. There's nothing to write about basically, and I think blogging is starting to lose it's novelty. LOL. Or maybe, I've just been having full out stress weeks...I'm drowning under all the shitload of work I have piled up. The only remotely interesting thing that went on the past few weeks, was Malam Merdeka. And that in itself was more of a lukewarm cup of Milo instead of a Hot cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows...geddit? I guess it's because it was celebrated almost a month after the actual Merdeka day, and I didn't get enough of the karipap =P. But all in all, it was fun taking pictures and being with other homesick Malaysians. With Eunice and Nette
With the cutest thing in Auckland, Arif Zafraaaaaaaan!!. The pic doesn't do him justice though. But he is a delicious piece of 3 year old in person.
Aparts from the Briyani, the highlight of the night was when Eunice won a lucky draw. Her ''lucky'' 099 number got her the grand prize of.........a Malaysian Airlines Cap!.Hehehehe. She was in denial about it being a cap for awhile. Poor girl I guess that's about it. My birthday is coming up soon!! the big 2-0.* HINT HINT* ...heheheh. That should be pretty interesting ;). See ya people! | | |
| I don't get chicks sometimes. I mean, I am one but some of the things that gets to some are just ridiculous. I'm reading a 2005 issue of cosmo, and there's this whole article about ''bashful bladder'' syndrome. I.e:a syndrome where you're shy to pee at your guy's place and instead ,you hold it in, and it then leads to health complications in the long run and etc . And it's supposed to be a common dilemma (?!!). It says so in the article. Common dilemma where la?? I quote: '' Bashful bladder is a common dilemma we women suffer from. But practising a few relaxation techniques will help you release your flow. Try flushing first; the white noise will distract you from thinking who can hear you. Another pee strategy : take a few deep breaths and visualize your urine stream leaving your body'' -Peter Walther, urologist at the Scripps clinic in La Jolla, California. I kid you not. Got strategy some more. Goodness, I personally think guys have better things to do, rather than pressing their ears to the door while you're using the loo. And if your's actually does that, then psycho-pervert alarms should be clanging in your head. I think this takes the term self-conscious to a whole different level. Its the call of nature man, think of your kidneys. | | |
| I've realized that different people call me by different names, relative to my relationship with them. I guess that applies to everyone. But ,it's funny how I seem to be answering less and less to Indah these days...lol...I don't mind really. Its just a thought. Some of the alternates to Indah ,that I am often called, are: 1. sarah 2. sar 3. yaya 4. booey 5.bb,bee,baby,sayang,meemee,bingbing and its synonyms 6. Inz 7. babe 8. missy 9.tangechi ( by one nutcase) 10.ala Interesting?...no?...ok back to work. I hate pre lab readings! Ooooh..I'm dissecting a sheep's heart on Thursday. I cant' wait! | | |
| It was a guilt full weekend. We did some hardcore pre -final exams bumming. The whole of Saturday was spent baking some seriously sinful junk. I think I've put on a kilogram due to each batch of goodies. Choc chip cookies, muffin and cake... so 3 kg la. Thank god puasa is around the corner. Wrapped up the weekend with a a gender based battle of oh-NO. It's all downhill from now though, my assignments are piling up and I've got a couple of mini tests lined up till D-day. So I deserved my unproductive Saturday . Baking genius at work =)
our babies baking Aren't they beautifoool?..come to mama! Zaf's evil looking chocolate cake. we prettied it up later with some frosting.
Kuchi-kuchi with koo-koo.Excessive sugar consumption makes Fluff Zaf all nice and docile.Hehehehe... take note boys!......( please dont kill me babe )
The picture is self explanatory. Checking on the muffins in the oven ;)
